Hi, I’m Mina Deocareza!
I’m a Philippine-based writer and editor with over 14 years of professional experience. I hold a BA in Creative Writing from UP Diliman and a Diploma in Language and Literacy Education from UP Open University.
My literary works have appeared in Inquirer, Clavel Magazine, Philippines Graphic, UST CCWLS’ Tomás literary journal, and Philippine Collegian’s Points of Contact literary anthology, among others. I have also written for various online publications, including When in Manila, Kasal.com, and Female Network. As an editor, I’ve worked with Microsoft, International Business Times, and Tech in Asia.
I have been awarded fellowships to the UST National Writers Workshop, the Cordillera Creative Writing Workshop, the Silliman University National Writers Workshop, and the UST National Writing Fellowship.
